Geography Bee

An exciting event that takes place annually for both 7th and 8th graders is the National Geographic Geography Bee. Students are asked challenging questions that test their knowledge of both world and U.S. geography. Classroom winners proceed to the school-wide competition, where one winner is selected to move on to the state regional competition. This event generates a great deal of student enthusiasm. It also increases student knowledge of purpose of geography in our complex world today.
