Every other Monday, students' weekly reading logs are due.  Students are required to read 5 days a week for at least 30 minutes OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL and log the main idea of what they read.  They can choose any of the 7 days to read.  A parent signature is required for this assignment.  Click on the link below if you need an additional copy of the log.

All of the literacy and language acquisition research shows that themore the students are reading, the more they improve their vocabulary,spelling, reading, and writing skills.
