6th grade Showcase is May 17th from 8:00am - 9:00am in the Cafeteria (The newsletter states the incorrect time)
Eighth Grade Recognition
Parents and Guardians of 8th graders, please join us for Eighth Grade Recognition ceremonies:
Immersion Team: Monday, June 4
FISH Team: Tuesday, June 5
NASA Team: Wednesday, June 6
Each event consists of a ceremony in the Auditorium from 1:00 to 1:40, followed by refreshments in the Cafeteria.
Registration for New Students
Registration materials for new sixth, seventh and eighth graders were mailed home in late April and early May. They are due back to the guidance office by Friday, May 18th.
Registration materials are also available on the counselor section of our website (click on "About Us" to get to the counselor page). You can also call Ms. Katzmarek (incoming 7th grade) or Ms. Mulvaney (incoming 6th and 8th grade) at 651-293-8950 for additional materials or with any questions. The counselors last day before summer vacation will be Monday, June 18th.
Counselors will be back in the building on Tuesday, August 21st. If you are a new student who has been assigned to Highland Middle School and you need to register for classes, please call the main office at 651-293-8950 before June 15th or after August 21st to make an appointment to meet with a counselor.
Seventh to Eighth grade registration
Ms. Mulvaney has met with all seventh grade classes to review eighth grade registration materials. Seventh graders were given a packet aof information to bring home and complete with parents. The registration form is due back to the guidance office by Friday, April 20th. Additional copies of the forms are posted on the counselor section of the school website (go to "About Us" to get the the counselor page). REGISTER NOW for next year's Washington, D.C. Trip
Next year's trip is Feb. 14th - 17th, 2013 (President's Day Weekend). Register NOW with $99 deposit before June 6th and spread the remainder of your payments out over a longer period of time. There will be fundraising and scholarship opportunities available this fall. Contact Mr. Migely with any questions.
